2019 年 3 月熱帶氣旋「伊代」兩次登陸莫三比克，在東非各國造成嚴重災情，其中以莫三比克、馬拉威、辛巴威三個國家受災最為嚴重。

根據聯合國統計，目前已有上千人死亡，超過 370 萬人民受到影響，慈濟志工在非洲的援助行動從 3 月 11日開始至今仍持續進行，援助項目有急難發放、教育復校、衛生醫療、援建磚房。

除了在災區第一線救援，全球各地的慈濟志工發起募心募愛行動，已有55個國家地區響應，把愛送進非洲，期待當地居民能夠早日回復生活正軌。

氣旋來襲莫三比克「挫咧等」

相當於強颱威力的「伊代」氣旋，即將侵襲東非莫三比克，登陸地點預估，是在第四大城「貝拉市」附近，這是當地57年以來，首次有氣旋登陸。不過此之前，「伊代」已經釀成嚴重淹水災情，造成超過120人死亡。
